Mother’s Day
Mums. Grandmas. Aunts. Sisters. We celebrate Mother’s Day to honour and thank the many women who have shaped our lives in indescribable ways. Now’s the time to do what we often take for granted: shower her with the same love. Here are nine Mother’s Day gifts that do just that, putting the photos she loves front and centre.
1. Photo Book
This Mother’s Day, compile all her memories into a photo book — especially photos of her grandkids — for a timeless gift. Include little nods to the wonderful life she leads with scanned memorabilia, like snippets from her vows, ticket stubs from concerts, and postcards from travels.
Top tip: Have each family member write a special message for mum, and then scan them onto a computer. Pair each handwritten note with a photo of its author for a keepsake she’ll treasure.
2. Framed Prints
Frame a photo that holds all of Mum’s joy, but also remember you can frame anything she’d love to display. Think about framing a unique and personal take on the traditional dictionary definition of mum. A lovely gift idea not only for mums, but step mums, mother-in-laws and aunties. Below is a template, courtesy of Printerpix, that you can use or edit:
Mum
[muhm] noun
The someone who loves you unconditionally. Your best & forever friend, the person you can count on above anyone else. Also a hero in every sense of the word

3. Photo Blankets
Wrap Mum, a mum-to-be, grandma or whoever means “Mum” to you in a personalised photo blanket. Whether it’s her favourite family vacations, childhood memories, pictures of the grandkids, or all of the above, a personalised blanket is a gift that celebrates mum’s story using the photos that matter.
Idea #1: Make a personalised woven blanket for the design-obsessed mum in your life. This beautifully textured piece is the perfect throw for sofas, beds and loungers!
Idea #2: Delight a pet mum by spotlighting the favourite child pup.
4. Magic Mugs
Mums on the go love a cup of tea. Make your mum’s morning routine even more brew-tiful with a magic mug. These mugs feature a heat-sensitive coating that reveals a hidden photo or message when a hot drink is poured in.
Top tip: Make a magic mug featuring the kids’ drawings – mum, grandma, or any doting auntie will appreciate their beautiful scribbles.
5. Eternal Roses
A gift that’s as beautiful as she is. Our eternal roses are uniquely preserved to maintain their beauty for years to come. Whenever mum looks at it, she will think of you. The perfect gift for mums who want to decorate their homes with a touch of elegance.
6. Sherpa Blanket
A sherpa photo blanket is the perfect gift to remind new mums that they’re loved and appreciated too. While we traditionally give blankets to keep the baby warm and cosy, let’s not forget that mum deserves some comfort and rest too. What’s more, you can personalise your blanket with a heartfelt message to let her know she’s doing an amazing job.
Top tip: Upload photos of the baby – think first week pictures, scans of their footprints, or a cuddly moment with Mum.
7. Canvas Prints
Has she jet-setted around the world, ticked off all the continents, seen the seven wonders? For the travel mum in your life, preserve her favourite adventures on canvas prints. And for the mum who loves all things home, create the gallery wall of her dreams with sets of canvas prints. She’ll simply adore reliving her story: school days, the moment she said “I do”, the kids’ birthdays & more.
Top tip: Mix and match prints of all sizes to create visual interest – our most-loved 100x75cm canvas makes for a wonderful centrepiece.
8. Luxury Layflat Photo Books
Tell Mum’s story in a luxury photo book, featuring an Italian fabric cover, a glass-like acrylic front and pages that open completely flat. Add a sweet dedication note, upload black & white photos from your mother’s or grandmother’s past, and include captions about those anecdotal stories they love to share during family gatherings.
Top tip: Honour the many roles she played in addition to “mum” by including her accomplishments.
9. Metal Prints
All mums love home décor, so why not make it extra personal? Refresh her walls with metal photo prints – display them on staircase walls or cluster them above the fireplace. Take it up a notch by creating a triptych of generational portraits: grandmother, mother, daughter, spread across three metal prints.
